Spring is in the air, and what better way to celebrate than with a community gathering full of food, laughter, and sunshine?
Our recent Spring BBQ was a perfect example of that, bringing together friends, families, and neighbours for an afternoon of connection and fun.
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who joined us! It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces and sharing stories over good food. While we missed a few familiar faces this time, the warmth and energy from everyone present more than made up for it. Events like these truly shine when our community comes together, and we couldn’t be happier with how today unfolded.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing Event Working Group. Your dedication, time, and effort made the day run seamlessly. From organizing the setup to coordinating activities and ensuring everyone felt welcome, your support was invaluable. Behind every smooth event is a team of people who quietly make it all happen, and we are so grateful for all that you do.
We also want to extend a special thanks to Abu Diyan for sharing the mouthwatering Chanachur Makha recipe. Your culinary contribution added a unique and delicious twist to our BBQ, giving everyone a chance to taste something truly special. Sharing recipes like this not only brings new flavors to our table but also strengthens the sense of community through culture and tradition.
Of course, no BBQ would be complete without the generosity of those who brought along dishes to share. Saravat Chowdhury treated us to a delightful noodle dish, while Adiba Nujhat contributed a refreshing mix of corn and fruits. Each dish added its own charm and flavor to the gathering, reminding us that community events are richer when everyone contributes a little something.
And we can’t forget the weather—thankfully, it was on our side! A sunny, pleasant day set the perfect backdrop for our gathering, allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoor festivities without a hitch.
