Six Months of growth, building towards 2026

Adelaide NSUers, the official North South University alumni community in South Australia, has completed a dynamic first year marked by connection, collaboration, and meaningful impact. In just six months, the community has grown into a strong platform bringing graduates together through professional development, cultural activities, and social engagement.

Key highlights from the past six months include a Spring BBQ that encouraged networking and friendship, a Resume Workshop supporting career development, a competitive Ludu Championship, and regular indoor soccer and cricket tournaments with rotating teams to keep participation engaging. The launch of the Adelaide NSUers website has further strengthened communication, serving as a central hub for news, events, and alumni updates.

The coming months promise an equally exciting calendar. Planned initiatives include a Welcoming NSUers event for new students, continued Resume Workshops, Ramadan Iftar, a proposed Boishakh Fest, and the Annual Cultural Evening to close the year. To support new arrivals, Adelaide NSUers is also expanding its volunteer team to assist with airport pickups, helping ease the transition to life in Adelaide.

Beyond events, the community is finalising its non-profit status and preparing to gather feedback from members. A logo design campaign is also planned, inviting community participation in shaping the organisation’s visual identity.

The Adelaide NSUers committee acknowledged the dedication of its Chairs, Co-Chairs, and volunteers, whose commitment has helped build a community grounded in the NSU values of excellence, connection, and giving back.

With six months of strong momentum behind it, Adelaide NSUers now looks ahead to 2026 as a year of expansion, deeper engagement, and lasting impact.
